Team Edwina
Story
Hi everyone,
As you all know our little Edwina battled stage 4 Neuroblastoma when she was just 2 years old. In August Edwina will be almost 5 years in remission. To celebrate we would like to help raise some money for Neuroblastoma Australia to help with their continued research and developments into more effective treatments for these kids. Edwina lives with and will continue to suffer long term side effects from the harsh treatment she received to save her life. With this funding we hope that in the future less toxic treatments can be used for the treatment of Neuroblastoma.
I’m making a difference and running for a cause that's close to my heart, raising funds for research into neuroblastoma childhood cancer. Please support my efforts by making a secure online donation and by posting a message of support. Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to my charity of choice.
If you would like to join us on the day please register at Neuroblastoma Australia, Run2Cure Local and join Team Edwina. We would love you to join us.
Thanks so much for your support!
Neuroblastoma Australia
Neuroblastoma is a devasting childhood cancer with the average age of diagnosis being just two years old. With survival of rates for aggressive neuroblastoma at only 50%, this disease claims more lives of children under the age of five than any other cancer.
We don’t need a miracle; just more research.
Neuroblastoma Australia, is a registered charity founded by families with children affected by the disease and has raised over $1.7 million for research into a cure for this complex cancer which almost exclusively affects young children.
You can make a difference. Help raise funds for research into more effective and less toxic treatments for neuroblastoma today.
